Bobcats Defeat Jaspers on Senior Day

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team honored their Seniors in a big way as they defeated the Manhattan Jaspers by a final score of 60-40 on Saturday afternoon.
Gal Raviv, Karson Martin, and Jackie Grisdale each scored 12 points in the win. Raviv recorded a double-double as she grabbed ten rebounds. Karson Martin had a big day from behind the arc, shooting 4-for-7 from three-point range. Jackie Grisdale grabbed six rebounds to add to her twelve-point effort. Anna Foley reached double figures as she scored eleven points.
Quinnipiac and Manhattan traded points throughout the first quarter, but it was the Bobcats who held a 15-13 lead through the first ten minutes.
Manhattan took the lead early in the second quarter, holding an 18-15 advantage with just under nine minutes left in the half. It was all Bobcats after that, as they ended the half with an eleven-point lead, 34-23.
Out of the half, the Bobcats lead grew to sixteen, as Manhattan called a timeout with 7:39 to go in the third quarter. Quinnipiac continued to dominate the Jaspers, ending the third quarter with a 49-32 lead.
Karson Martin knocked down a three to push Quinnipiac's lead to 24. The Bobcats capped Senior Day off with a 20-point win over the Jaspers.
