TOP 5 IN THE NATION
- The Bobcats are back in the Top 5 of the national polls, cracking the mark in both the USCHO and USA Hockey rankings, the organizations both announced on Monday.
 - It is the first time since Feb. 5, 2024 that the Bobcats are Top 5 in the polls, climbing as high as sixth this season and entering the season seventh a year ago but never ranking higher than that.

NO PLACE LIKE HOME
- Ready to begin a stretch where just four games are away from home ice between this week and Jan. 10, the Bobcats are going to be at a familiar spot at M&T Bank Arena, and one they've been very successful in over the last four seasons.
 - The 45 wins at The Bank are tied for the third-most in the country since the 2022-23 season, while the eight losses are the fewest in the country. They are the only team with single-digit losses in home games over the last three-plus seasons.
 - They are averaging 4.4 goals per game during that span, which puts them second in the country in that category, while their 1.8 goals-against per contest are tops in the country, just ahead of fellow ECAC member Cornell.

FIRST-YEAR PHENOMS
- The first-year class of the Bobcats was its most productive in the first six games of the year, making an instant offensive impact, leading the team in goals and points and is tied in total assists.
 - Led by Ethan Wyttenbach's four and Markus Vidicek's three, the 13 goals from the class lead the team and the Bobcats are one of five teams in the country with two or more first year skaters with three or more tallies to begin the game.
 - The Bobcat debutants also have compiled 26 of the Bobcats' 66 points on the year.

MOTO MOTO
- After a 3-goal first period for Maine on Friday night, junior netminder Matej Marinov locked in en route to his MAC Goaltending ECAC Goalie of the Week honor.
 - He stopped 29 of his final 30 shots against, including an 18-save shutout on Saturday to ensure an unbeaten weekend for the Bobcats. He also made a pair of standout stops in the shootout on Friday night, ending the comeback on a high that saw the Bobcats erase a 4-1 deficit.
 - He followed that up with a 26-save performance on Tuesday night at Holy Cross, the most by a Bobcat netminder this season.

WYTTER WYTTER, CHICKEN DINNER
- Ethan Wyttenbach is off to a flying start for the Bobcats, recording points in all six of his appearances to begin his first collegiate season.
 - He was the only first year player in the country to record points in each of his first six games and owned the second-longest active points streak in the country.
