Frank, No. 9 Bobcats Blank Sacred Heart

STORRS, Conn. – Sophomore Felicia Frank stopped all 22 shots, and the No. 9 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team closed out the weekend with a 2-0 victory over Sacred Heart.
Kahlen Lamarche gave the Bobcats an early lead, converting a puck that bounced off Laurence Frenette's stick and then hers just five minutes into the game.
The junior forward went on to score once more with under 2 minutes remaining in the third, her 21st goal of the season. Lamarche finished the weekend with three points, including an assist in Friday's matchup.
Frank earned her 17th start and 18th appearance of the season, helping Quinnipiac to its 13th win of the year.

Quinnipiac continues its road trip to upstate New York next weekend. The Bobcats visit Cornell on Dec. 5 at 6 p.m., followed by a matchup at Colgate on Dec. 6 at 3 p.m.

- Watson tallied two assists on the weekend, moving into a tie with Frenette for the team lead (13).
