FIRST-YEAR PHENOMS
- Ethan Wyttenbach and Markus Vidicek are off to a hot start in the 2025-26 campaign, both reaching double-figure points in the first 11 games of the campaign.
- Wyttenbach sits currently tops on the team with 12 points, while Vidicek is two back with 10 points.
- They are two of seven Bobcat first years in the last 15 years to record double figure points in their first 11 games. Sam Anas (15) tops the list, while Odeen Tufto (12), Chase Priskie (12), Landon Smith (11) and Matthew Peca (11) join the category.
WYTTER WYTTER, CHICKEN DINNER
- Ethan Wyttenbach was named the ECAC's Rookie of the Month for October after posting eight points in eight games, leading the Bobcats to a 5-2-1 record and the No. 5 ranking in the country.
- He finished his inaugural month of college hockey with four goals, two being power play goals, and two assists. He earned his first collegiate point in the Bobcats' 4-3 win over Boston College that sparked a six-game points streak to begin his collegiate career, the only first-year in the country to amass that streak.
PLUSES AND MINUSES
- Charlie Leddy and Elliott Groenewold are off to a very positive start in creating offense for the Bobcats, sitting top two on the team in plus-minus to begin the campaign.
- Only Zach Metsa has had a higher plus-minus (+12) than Leddy (+11) in a Quinnipiac defenseman's first 11 games of a season, and only Alex Miner-Barron (+11) and Connor Clifton (+10) join them in being ahead of Groenewold (+9) in that span to begin a Bobcat campaign.
- Leddy's plus-11 rating puts him tops in the ECAC and five off Max Plante's overall national mark. Amongst defensemen, Leddy sits two behind Ty Hanson and Adam Kleber for the positional lead.
NO PLACE LIKE HOME
- Ready to begin a stretch where just four games are away from home ice between this week and Jan. 10, the Bobcats are going to be at a familiar spot at M&T Bank Arena, and one they've been very successful in over the last four seasons.
- The 45 wins at The Bank are tied for the third-most in the country since the 2022-23 season, while the eight losses are the fewest in the country. They are the only team with single-digit losses in home games over the last three-plus seasons.
- They are averaging 4.4 goals per game during that span, which puts them second in the country in that category, while their 1.8 goals-against per contest are tops in the country, just ahead of fellow ECAC member Cornell.
