DURHAM, N.H.. — Junior Dylan Silverstein stopped all 21 shots, including a flurry of chances late, and the No. 6 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program escaped Durham with a 2-0 win on Saturday night at a sold-out Whittemore Center.
Silverstein made four saves in the game's final 86 seconds, including a pair without his stick to keep the Bobcats ahead by a pair late.
This came after Jeremy Wilmer put Quinnipiac up a pair after a beautiful feed from Markus Vidicek early in the third period.
The Bobcats started the scoring in the first, as Chris Pelosi cleaned up a scrum in front and popped the puck over the New Hampshire netminder to close the first with a Bobcat advantage.
