Sigurjonsson's Game-Winner Lifts Bobcats Past Manhattan

HAMDEN, Conn. – Sindri Sigurjonsson registered his first career goal with less than five minutes remaining, powering Quinnipiac men's soccer past Manhattan, 2-1, on Wednesday afternoon at the QU Soccer Stadium.
The Bobcats move to 4-7-1 (2-3-0 MAAC) with the victory. QU is 4-2 at home in 2025.
The Jaspers opened up the scoring at 51:59 on a William Fagerberg strike.
Sivert Ryssdalsnes tied the game 1-1 at 55:09, recording his sixth goal of the season off a corner chance.
Sigurjonsson then netted the game-winner at 85:03 to help lead QU to its second MAAC win. Mateo Balbino played a ball across the box to the first-year athlete, then Sigurjonsson made a move and blasted it into the back of the net with his left foot.
