No. 7 Quinnipiac Blanks Syracuse to Extend Unbeaten Start

SYRACUSE, NY – The No. 7 Quinnipiac Bobcats kept their momentum rolling Friday night, earning a 3-0 shutout victory over Syracuse to secure their fifth straight win.
Quinnipiac struck early as Kahlen Lamarche opened the scoring on a power play just nine minutes into the first period.
Lamarche doubled the lead with her second goal of the night early in the second, giving the Bobcats control heading into the final frame.
Emerson Jarvis capped off the scoring with a power-play goal in the third period — her first of the season.
Felicia Frank recorded her sixth career shutout between the pipes, stopping all 19 shots she faced to match her total from last Saturday's shutout against Providence.
