Bobcats Defeat Siena By 18, Improve to 5-0 in the MAAC

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball program extended their win streak to seven games as they defeated the Saints 69-51 on Thursday morning.
Karson Martin led the team in scoring with 14 points on 85.7% (6-for-7) shooting from the floor. Martin grabbed five rebounds and recorded three steals and three assists. Gal Raviv and Jackie Grisdale each dropped 13 points in the win. Anna Foley reached double figures (10 points) and dished out a team-high five assists.
The Bobcats and Saints traded points in the first quarter, but the Bobcats held a two-point advantage (19-17) at the end of the quarter. Quinnipiac came out strong in the second quarter, extending their lead to ten.
QU would continue to build on their lead, taking a twelve-point lead into the locker room at the half. After Siena made it a six-point game early in the third quarter, the Bobcats called a timeout to cool things down.
The Bobcats caught on fire as they went on an 18-4 run to break the game open. QU would not allow the Saints back in the game as they finished off the 69-51 victory.
