Foley Records a Double-Double as Bobcats Win 8th Straight

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball program outscored the Iona Gaels 23-8 in the fourth quarter to come from behind and earn their 8th straight win.
 
Anna Foley led the team in scoring with 21 points on 53.8% (7-for-13) shooting from the floor. Foley grabbed 12 rebounds to earn her sixth collegiate double-double. Gal Raviv was second on the team with 17 points on 53.3% shooting from the floor. Seven Bobcats recorded points to help the Bobcats improve to 14-1.
 
The Gaels started firing from three-point range in the opening quarter as they opened a 19-12 advantage after the first ten minutes. The second quarter was a different story, with the Bobcats getting hot, outscoring the Gaels 19-10 to close out the half to take a 31-29 lead.
 
Iona came out of the locker room and caught fire again as they held a seven-point lead heading into the final quarter.
 
The Bobcats offense and defense came together in the final frame as they outscored the Gaels 23-8 in the final ten minutes to defeat the Gaels 66-58.
