POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Quinnipiac Men's Basketball dropped a MAAC contest at Marist on Sunday afternoon by the final score of 69-62.

Amarri Monroe registered 15 points, five rebounds and three steals for the Bobcats. Khaden Bennett chipped in with 14 points and seven rebounds, while Paul Otieno recorded 12 points and six rebounds.

The Bobcats move to 3-1 in MAAC play with the result.

NOTES

The Bobcats outscored Marist 43-39 during a second-half comeback bid. QU went 15-of-33 (45.5%) from the floor during the final 20 minutes, knocking down seven 3-pointers.
Marist finished the final 10+ minutes of the first half on a 23-7 run, then opened up the second half on another 9-0 burst to increase the lead to 39-19.
Quinnipiac then outscored the Red Foxes 23-11 over a 6:37 span in the middle of the second half to cut the deficit back to eight points.
Marist outrebounded Quinnipiac 39-38, and the Red Foxes held a 34-26 advantage on points in the paint.
11 of Khaden Bennett's 14 points came during the second half of play. The sophomore guard has 10+ points in nine of his last 10 contests.
Amarri Monroe registered his 8^th game of 15 or more points in 2024-25. He grabbed three more steals to raise his MAAC-leading total to 41 for the season.
Paul Otieno shot 5-of-6 from the floor en route to 12 points.
Jaden Zimmerman added nine points, four rebounds and three assists.
Savion Lewis recorded four points, eight rebounds (second-highest total of the year) and two assists.
Josh Pascarelli led Marist with 20 points, and Elijah Lewis added 19 points.
Quinnipiac is now 16-10 against Marist since joining the MAAC. The Bobcats have won five of the last seven vs. the Red Foxes.
