No. 10/11 Bobcats Skate By Harvard

HAMDEN, Conn.— The No. 10/11 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey defeated Harvard 2-1 at M&T Bank Arena on Friday evening.
Neither team could find the back of the net in the first period, with the Bobcats leading in shots on goal 9-4.
Maya Labad finally broke the tie just over 16 minutes into the second period, finding an opening five-hole.
Kendall Cooper added another early in the third period to push the lead.
Harvard would score halfway through the final frame but it wouldn't be enough as the Bobcats move to 17-8-4.
STATS & NOTES
The Bobcats will host Dartmouth tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 PM, the game will be streamed on ESPN+ as well as NESN.

- Makayla Watson continues to lead all first year skaters in points with 13 after notching an assist.
- Kendall Cooper scored her seventh goal of the season and 111th point of her career.
- Cooper and Maddy Samoskevich now each lead the team in plus/minus at +15.
- Kahlen Lamarche notched her team-leading 24th point of the season.
- Emerson Jarvis went 11-7 on the faceoff dot.
- Zoe Uens had two blocked shots to bring her team-leading total to 49.
