Bobcats Down Peacocks, Improve to 3-0 in MAAC Play

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team picked up their first win of 2025 as they defeated the Saint Peter's Peacocks, 54-39, on Thursday night in Hamden.
Jackie Grisdale led the way, scoring 13 points while shooting 42.9% (3-for-7) from three-point range. Grisdale also grabbed five rebounds and recorded two steals in the win. Anna Foley added eleven points and grabbed six rebounds.
The Bobcats and Peacocks played to a low-scoring first half as Quinnipiac held an 11-10 lead after the opening quarter. Saint Peter's outscored the Bobcats in the second quarter and entered halftime with a one-point lead.
Quinnipiac came out of the halftime break scoring nine of the first eleven points to take a six-point lead. The Bobcats would outscore Saint Peter's 13-5 in the third quarter to take a seven-point lead into the final quarter.
Quinnipiac built on their lead in the final ten minutes as they went on to defeat the Peacocks, 54-39 to improve to 11-1 overall and 3-0 in MAAC play.
