Raviv Scores 27 as Bobcats Down Merrimack

ANDOVER, Mass. – The Bobcats held on for a 72-67 victory over the Merrimack Warriors on Thursday night in Andover.
Gal Raviv set a new career-high with 27 points on 50% (12-for-24) shooting from the floor to lead the team. Raviv grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and dished out two assists. Jackie Grisdale was second on the team in scoring with 14 points. Caranda Perea scored in double-digits as she reached 12 points in the win.
The Bobcats came out of the gates firing on all cylinders, shooting 67% (10-for-15) from the floor and 56% (5-for-9) from three-point range to take a 25-16 lead after the opening ten minutes.
The Bobcats continued to shoot the ball well as they closed out the half with a twelve-point lead, 44-32.
Quinnipiac and Merrimack traded buckets in the third quarter, but the Bobcats continued to hold a ten-point advantage heading into the final quarter.
Merrimack was able to go on a run to even the game at 67 with 2:15 to play in the game. After Gal Raviv knocked down a jumper, Jackie Grisdale knocked down crucial free throws to seal the win.
