Bobcats Open MAAC Play With 2-0 Win Over Sacred Heart

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Women's Soccer earned their first conference victory of the season as they defeated the Sacred Heart Pioneers 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The Bobcats scored their first goal three minutes into the game as Morgan Cupo tallied her second goal of the season assisted by Ella Gagno and Rachel Roman.
Courtney Chochol doubled the Bobcats lead early in the second half as she redirected the Pioneer clear into the back of the net.
Sofia Lospinoso made three saves in the effort as she recorded her second clean sheet of the season and the 23rd of her career, which ranks first in program history.
