No. 10 Bobcats Drop Exhibition at No. 9 UConn

STORRS, Conn. — The No. 10 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey opened its season with an exhibition at UConn, falling 2-1 in overtime on Saturday afternoon.
The teams played a back and forth first period with neither able to find the back of the net. Emerson Jarvis broke the tie on the powerplay with a tip from the slot at the beginning of the second.
UConn scored halfway through the second to bring the game even and it would stay there until overtime. UConn would go into win 44 seconds into overtime.
