QU Advances to Title Match for 10th Straight Season

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ – No. 2 Quinnipiac Women's Tennis defeated No. 3 Niagara in the semifinal round of the 2024 MAAC Championship on Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 4-0 victory.

The Bobcats won the doubles point after #1 (Dominique Yeo/Vera Sekerina) and #2 (Caroline Schulson/Nikole Lisovyy) each earned a 6-2 victory. Vera Sekerina then won at No. 2 singles, Caitlin Flower bested Borg at No. 4 singles, and Dominique Yeo took care of business at the No. 5 position.

Quinnipiac has now made the MAAC title contest in 10 consecutive years. The Bobcats will seek their eighth league championship on Sunday. The Bobcats won a MAAC title in 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2021-22 and 2022-23.

NOTES

Quinnipiac will seek its eighth league championship on Sunday. The Bobcats won a MAAC title in 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2021-22 and 2022-23.
Vera Sekerina improved to 6-1 in MAAC singles play. She went 5-1 in league play during the regular season.
First Team All-MAAC selection Caitlin Flower is now 6-0 vs. MAAC opponents in singles play this spring.
Dominique Yeo won her 5^th singles match of the spring vs. a league opponent.
Dominique Yeo / Vera Sekerina have now won four MAAC matchups as a duo this spring.
Caroline Schulson/Caitlin Flower were named First Team All-League at No. 2 doubles. The duo won 6-2 in the MAAC Semifinals.
