WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ – No. 2 Quinnipiac Women's Tennis fell in the MAAC title matchup vs. top-seeded Fairfield by the final score of 4-3 on Sunday at Mercer County Tennis Center.

The Bobcats took the doubles point to begin the day, then Caitlin Flower (4) and Dominique Yeo (5) each earned a singles win.

Fairfield's Sarah Liu bested Anagha Shankar in the decisive match, winning 6-4 in the third and final set to clinch the championship for the Stags.

NOTES

Dominique Yeo / Vera Sekerina and Anagha Shankar / Nikole Lisovyy were the doubles winners for the Bobcats, helping QU pick up the first point.
Caitlin Flower won from the No. 4 singles position, finishing unbeaten in MAAC play during the spring season. Flower won both singles matchups this weekend.
Dominique Yeo went 2-0 in the MAAC Tournament from the No. 5 spot. She finishes 6-1 in MAAC singles action this spring.
Quinnipiac has advanced to the NCAA Tournament seven times since joining the league (2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2021-22, 2022-23).
