Golf Ready For Action At Navy Spring Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Quinnipiac women's golf program returns to the course as they play in their final tournament before heading down to the MAAC Championships. The Bobcats will compete at the Navy Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 13^th and Sunday, April 14^th at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Maryland.

READY FOR ANNAPOLIS

The Bobcats will travel to Annapolis, Maryland to compete at the Navy Spring Invitational on Saturday April 13- Sunday April 14.
The 36-hole tournament will be played at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club with 18 holes on each day.

BACK IN ACTION

The Bobcats were last in action on April 8^th where they were crowned FDU Invitational champions, the team's third tournament win of the year.
Captain Leeyen Peralta captured the individual title as she shot a 216 (E) in three rounds.
Aimee Uchida finished three strokes behind Peralta, which was good for second place.

LAUDABLE LEEYEN

Leeyen Peralta returns for her fifth year in the fall of 2023.
She competed in 11 events and averaged 74.52 strokes per round.
Her average 74.52 strokes per round is an all-time program best.
Peralta earned six top-10 finishes and five top-five finishes on the campaign.
She recorded a team-best 68 birdies on the season, while also setting the program record
Her 11 rounds for par or better tied the program record.
Peralta earned All-MAAC honors for the third straight season.
She shot a career three-round best at the MAAC Championships, shooting a 216 (E).

FLEXING FUGE

Fuge Zhang returns for her junior season in 2023.
She appeared in 12 events last season, averaging 77.19 strokes per round.
Zhang was named MAAC Golfer of the Year after she came in first place at the MAAC Championships.
She shot a career three-round best 214 (-2) at the MAAC Championship in 2022
Her 214 (-2) at the MAAC Championship stands as the best three-round all-time score at the tournament.
Zhang notched four top-ten finishes and came in the top-five three times.
Zhang earned All-MAAC honors for the second straight season.
