Men's Tennis Tops Marist to Open MAAC Play

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's tennis team won their opening MAAC match of the season 4-1 over Marist through a weather delay on Wednesday, March 27.

The Bobcats swept the doubles point and then got singles wins from Daniel Velek, Ayato Arakaki, and Burridge, all in three sets.

NOTES

Finn Burridge won his ninth singles match of the spring to clinch the win for the Bobcats.
Velek and Sood are now 11-5 as a doubles team.
The Bobcats have now won three straight matches over Marist since 2022.
Daniel Velek moved to 9-7 in singles this spring.
