QU Set to Compete at Bulldog Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's tennis team is back in action this weekend as they make a short trip to New Haven for the Bulldog Invitational. Yale University will host the three-day event at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.

LAST TIME OUT

Quinnipiac competed at the Fairfield Invitational last weekend and won a total of 18 matches over the rain-shortened invitational.
On the opening day of the event, the Bobcats earned seven wins, highlighted by Milan Radojicic, Andrey Pikulin, and Keitaro Hendrajanto recording their first wins as Bobcats.
On Saturday, Quinnipiac took home 11 wins, five being doubles wins and six coming from singles action.

RECAP OF LAST SEASON

The Bobcats closed out the regular season with an 8-11 record and a 5-3 mark in conference play, which earned them the number three seed for the postseason tournament.
Quinnipiac's season came to a close in the semifinals, falling to the eventual champions, the Rider Broncs, 4-2.

ALL-CONFERENCE SELECTIONS

Elias Hoxha, Alessandro Sciacca, and Vishal Prakash all earned All-Conference honors last season.
Hoxha earned Third Team Singles, while Sciacca and Prakash were named to Second Team Doubles.

STRONG RETURNING GROUP

Quinnipiac returns six from last year's team that fell in the conference semifinals last season.
Finn Burridge is the lone senior on the team, with Elias Hoxha, Carl Sjoholm, and Vishal Prakash rounding out the junior class.
Prithvi Sudhakar and Alessandro Sciacca are two sophomores who returned to Hamden for their second season with the Bobcats.

THE NEWCOMERS

The Bobcats welcome four newcomers to the squad: Keitaro Hendrajanto (Jakarta, Indonesia), Marcos Karakassis (Hamburg, Germany), Andrey Pikulin (Moscow, Russia), and Milan Radojicic (Belgrade, Serbia).
Pikulin is a transfer from Northwood University in Michigan, while Hendrajanto, Karakassis, and Radojicic are all incoming first year students.

'26 FALL SCHEDULE

The Bobcats will battle in five tournaments for the fall portion of their 2026-27 schedule.
After opening their season at the Fairfield Invitational (Sept. 18-20), the Bobcats will make a short trip to New Haven for the Bulldog Invitational (Sept. 25-27) hosted by Yale.
The Metro Masters Tournament will take place at Quinnipiac once again, with the event slated for three days (Oct. 2-4).
Just a few days later, the ITA Regionals will take place at Harvard University from Wednesday, Oct. 7 to Monday, October 12^th.
Quinnipiac will close out its fall portion of its schedule at the Army Shootout in West Point, NY (Oct. 30 – Nov. 1).
