HAMDEN, Conn. — The top-seeded Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program returns to Lake Placid in search of the Whitelaw Cup and an ECAC Tournament Championship this weekend, as the Bobcats are two wins away from a postseason title.
The regular season champs will take on St. Lawrence in Friday evening's semifinal, with the winner of that contest taking on the winner of Cornell/Dartmouth on Saturday for the crown.

HAMDEN, Conn. — The top-seeded Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program returns to Lake Placid in search of the Whitelaw Cup and an ECAC Tournament Championship this weekend, as the Bobcats are two wins away from a postseason title.
The regular season champs will take on St. Lawrence in Friday evening's semifinal, with the winner of that contest taking on the winner of Cornell/Dartmouth on Saturday for the crown.
#GRAF4HOBEY
- For the second consecutive season, forward Collin Graf was selected as one of the 10 best players in college hockey, being named to the Hobey Top 10 list on Wednesday afternoon by the committee.
- The Lincoln, Mass., native overcame early-season injury troubles to again become one of the most dangerous forwards in the country, entering the season with 46 points.
- He is fifth in the nation in both goals per game (0.71) and points per game (1.55), leading the ECAC in both categories. He enters the weekend with points in 11 of his last 12, totaling 17 over that span.
All-Conference Accolades
- Quinnipiac earned six of the possible 24 All-Conference honors from the ECAC throughout the week, with the squad taking four of 12 from the top two teams.
- Collin Graf and Jayden Lee were named to the first team, while Sam Lipkin were tabbed second team selections. Vinny Duplessis is the third team netminder and Mason Marcellus was a unanimous All-Rookie selection.
- They tied Cornell with the most selections in the league, as the top two squads in ECAC Hockey had six each.
CLEARY CONFIRMED
- Quinnipiac earned its fourth consecutive Cleary Cup and eighth in the last 12 seasons as the ECAC's regular season champion. They are the first program in league history to win four consecutive outright regular season titles and joined Harvard (1984-87) as the only program to win four consecutive.
- The streak is tied for the third longest in the country, joining Boston University, Michigan and Minnesota State as the five teams in the country to win four in a row.
MY COUSIN VINNY
- Grad student goaltender Vinny Duplessis was named to the 2024 Richter Award Semifinalist List and is a third-team All-ECAC selection for the Bobcats.
- The Quebec City native currently ranks amongst the nation's best netminders, sitting second in winning percentage (.778), third in goals-against average (1.92) and ninth in shutouts (three).
- It is the fourth consecutive season a Bobcat has been named to the list, joining Yaniv Perets (2022, 2023) and and Keith Petruzzelli (2020-21).
