Foley Leads Bobcats With 17 Points in Loss At Siena

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y – The Bobcats fell to the Siena Saints despite 17 points from Anna Foley on Saturday afternoon in Loudonville.
With the loss, the Bobcats will fall to 10-12 on the season and 7-6 in the MAAC, while Siena will improve to 13-8 overall and 10-3 in conference play. This is Siena's second straight win over the Bobcats.
The Bobcats and Siena traded the first two baskets before the Saints went on a 6-0 run to force the Bobcats to use a timeout. Out of the break, Siena was able to make it a nine-point game. Ava Sollenne knocked one in off the glass to bring the Bobcats within five.
Siena halted Quinnipiac's plans for a comeback early in this one as they were able to extend their lead to 13. Reiven Douglas made two free throws to make it an 11-point game after the first quarter.
The Saints continued their dominant play as they increased their lead to 15 at the media timeout. Siena was able to make it an 18-point lead at the end of the half, 38-20. Anna Foley led the Bobcats with eight points at the half.
Out of the half, the two sides trading buckets as Siena maintained their big lead. The Bobcats fought back, and Ava Sollenne knocked down a three to make it an eleven-point game at the media timeout.
Siena came out of the media timeout and improved on their lead, making it a 23-point game, 60-37, heading into the final quarter.
The Saints stopped any chance of the Bobcats making a comeback as they were able to keep their lead in double digits and winning the game, 74-55.
