PRINCETON, NJ. — The No. 9/7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team fell 2-1 to Princeton in overtime on Saturday afternoon.

Neither team could find the net in the first period with Princeton leading in shots 11-6.

QU took the first lead of the game on a shot from Laurence Frenette who picked up a loose puck sent on net from Emerson Jarvis.

Princeton would score on the power play in the third period to tie the game at one. Despite chances for each team late in the third neither could score, sending the game to overtime.

Princeton would score 2:06 into OT to win.

STATS & NOTES

Laurence Frenette scored her fifth goal of the season, tying her mark from a season ago.
Emerson Jarvis has points in her last two games.
Sophie Urban dished her third assist of the season for her fifth point.
Maddy Samoskevich went 14-6 on the faceoff dot.
Zoe Uens blocked two shots to bring her total for the season to 38, leading the Bobcats.
