No. 9/7 Bobcats Get by SHU on Kids Day

HAMDEN, Conn. – No. 9/7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey survived a 2-1 battle with SHU on Tuesday afternoon in front of 1,878 fans.
Neither team could get much going in the first period, with QU dominating in shots on goal 17-5.
SHU broke the scoreless tie just over a minute into the second period, with a puck finding its way past Felicia Frank.
Maya Labad answered just five minutes later to even it at one.
Despite the Bobcats dominating for most of the game, the score remained 1-1 until Emerson Jarvis slipped a shot by the SHU goaltender to lead the Bobcats to a 2-1 win.

The Bobcats will travel to New Jersey to face Princeton on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 PM.
