HAMDEN, Conn. — The No. 15 Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey program fell to league foe Dartmouth on Friday night in the league opener for both teams, as the Big Green took home a 4-2 victory at M&T Bank Arena in front of 3,121 fans.
Dartmouth scored the first two goals of the game before the Bobcats could get on the board, as Jeremy Wilmer took a loose puck in front and kicked it to his stick before putting it over the glove of the Big Green netminder.
The game was tied early in the third, as Tyler Borgula ripped a shot from the point that took a deflection on the way in, knotting the proceedings and giving the Bobcats all of the momentum.
Dartmouth found the game-winner on the man-advantage, as a wrister from the point beat Bobcat netminder Dylan Silverstein high to the glove side and the visitors would take the league for good.
