HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's basketball team improved to 3-0 for the first time since the 2016-17 season with a 74-66 victory over the Princeton Tigers.

Gal Raviv led the Bobcats in scoring with 21 points on 6-for-7 shooting from the floor. Caranda Perea scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for her first double-double as a Bobcat.

Quinnipiac shot 51% from the floor and 35.7% from behind the arc, while holding Princeton to just 41.0% shooting from the field.

NUMBERS AND NOTES

With the win, the Bobcats have won their first three games of the season for the first time since the 2016-17 season.
Gal Raviv led all scorers with 20 points while shooting 85.7% from the floor. Raviv has scored double-digit points in all three games this season.
Raviv dished out six assists to lead the team.
Graduate transfer Caranda Perea recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Karson Martin (15 points) and Jackie Grisdale (10 points) both reached double-digit figures.
Anna Foley added nine points and grabbed four rebounds.
The Bobcats outscored the Tigers in points in the paint, 32-30.
