Martin Scores 15 As Bobcats Improve to 4-0

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's basketball team defeated the Cornell Big Red, 56-47, on Thursday evening to improve to 4-0 in the 2024-25 campaign.
Karson Martin led all scorers with 15 points on 7-for-14 (50%) shooting. Martin also grabbed five rebounds, which was good for third on the team. Anna Foley added 14 points and snagged a team-high nine rebounds.
The Big Red scored the game's first two points, but it was all Bobcats after that as they did not let Cornell regain the lead.
Quinnipiac exploded for 24 points in the fourth quarter, shooting 56.3% (9-for-16) from the field and 1-for-2 from three-point range.
