Grisdale's Career Day Lifts Bobcats Past Harvard

HAMDEN, Conn. – Jackie Grisdale scored a career-high 33 points to lead Quinnipiac Women's Basketball past Harvard on Sunday in Hamden, as the Bobcats cruised past the Crimson in an impressive 76-53 victory.
Grisdale shot 12-of-16 during the record-breaking performance, making 7-of-8 3-point attempts to lead QU to a win in the home opener. The senior set a new Division I program record for made 3-pointers in a game (7).
After trailing through the first 10 minutes, the Bobcats outscored Harvard 23-7 in the second quarter and 30-16 in the third stanza to open up a lead.

- Jackie Grisdale also grabbed seven rebounds during the record-breaking performance. She scored 14 points in the second quarter along (4-5 from distance), then 12 more points in the third quarter (4-4 FG). Grisdale's 33 points over 39 minutes marks a new career-high for the senior.
- Gal Raviv added 10 points, four rebounds and three assists for the Bobcats. She went 6-of-8 from the free throw line.
- Anna Foley stuffed the stat sheet with nine points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in the win. Foley grabbed three offensive rebounds.
- Caranda Perea added eight points and three rebounds, Karson Martin chipped in with seven points and seven assists, and Ella O'Donnell recorded seven points and five rebounds.
- Quinnipiac is now 4-4 vs. Harvard during QU's Division I era. The Bobcats win their first contest against Harvard in Hamden since 1/13/2004.
- QU led for 32:17 in total, and the Bobcats' largest lead was 29.
- The Bobcats shot 23-of-51 for the game. QU went 7-for-15 in the second quarter, then 8-for-14 in the third.
- QU held a 37-33 advantage in rebounding over Harvard.
- QU will play host to Princeton on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2:00 PM to continue the non-conference schedule.
