No. 9 Bobcats Fall in Overtime at Brown

PROVIDENCE, RI – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team fell 2-1 in overtime to open ECAC play at Brown on Friday night.
QU dominated the first period, outshooting them 14-2 in the frame but neither team could find the back of the net.
Halfway through the second period, Maddy Samoskevich found Jenna Donohue in the low slot for a one-timer to score the Bobcats' lone goal.
The Bears would even it up halfway through the third, and the score would remain at one, forcing overtime.
With two seconds left in overtime, Brown scored to win.

The Bobcats are back in action for the Battle of Whitney Ave tomorrow at 3:00 PM against Yale at Ingalls Rink in New Haven, Conn.
