No. 8 Women's Ice Hockey Falls at Brown

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The No. 8 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team lost 4-1 to Brown in Rhode Island on Saturday afternoon.
Despite chances for both teams in the first and early in the second, neither team found the back of the net until 16:11 mark of the second period when Zoe Uens took a shot that was deflected past the Brown goaltender.
Brown would score early in the third period to knot the game at one before scoring another to take the lead with ten minutes to play.
The Bobcats pulled goaltender Logan Angers with 2:15 to play but the comeback effort would fall short as Brown added two empty net goals.

The Bobcats will return home next weekend to host Princeton for one game on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 3:00 PM in Hamden, Conn.
