No. 8 Bobcats Fall in Overtime to Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The No. 8 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team fell in 2-1 in overtime to Yale on Friday, Jan. 26.
Both teams were held scoreless in the first 38 minutes of play, with Logan Angers making several jaw dropping saves to keep the Bulldogs off the board.
Veronica Bac would break the scoreless tie after her shot from the slot hit the Yale goaltender in the shoulder and bounced in.
Yale would score to tie the game with just over six minutes to play.
After a scramble in front of the net the Bobcats took a delay of game penalty with 45 seconds to play that would extend into the overtime frame.
The Bulldogs capitalized on the power play and won the game 25 seconds into overtime.
