No. 6 Bobcats Drop Home Game to Cornell

HAMDEN, Conn. — The No. 6 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team fell to No. 8 Cornell 4-3 after their comeback bid fell short on Saturday afternoon.
Cornell came out firing, scoring just under six minutes in.
Ten minutes later, Maya Labad tipped in a shot from Kahlen Lamarche on the power play.
Cornell would score the lone goal in the second period.
Logan Angers made 13 saves in the second period to keep the Bobcats within striking distance.
Cornell added another goal halfway through the third.
QU pulled Logan Angers with 3:30 left and got goals from Nina Steigauf and Alexa Hoskin to tie it up late in the game.
Cornell broke the tie with 53 seconds left.

The Bobcats are back in action next Friday, making the short trip to New Haven to face Yale at 6:00 PM. They will then head to Providence to take on Brown at 3:00 PM on Saturday.
