QU Takes Down Fairfield, Clinches Top Seed in MAAC Tournament

GUILFORD, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis came out victorious in the battle of the unbeaten MAAC teams on Wednesday night, as the Bobcats handed Fairfield their first league loss of the 2023 campaign.

QU downed Fairfield, 5-2, clinching the No. 1 seed in the upcoming 2023 MAAC Tournament in New Jersey.

Alessia Truden, Vera Sekerina, Jordan Bradley, and Nikole Lisovyy all won in straight sets. Claire Koscielski came back from a set down to win her match. Koscielski earned her 98th and 99th career wins for the Bobcats, as she teamed up with Sekerina to win at No. 3 doubles.
