Back-to-Back Bobcats: Women's Soccer Claims League Title

HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's soccer team captured their second straight MAAC Championship after a 1-0 win over Fairfield on Sunday, November 5th.
Courtney Chochol's goal in the first minute proves to be the game-winner as they advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season.
Olivia Scott, Ella Gagno, Madison Alves, and Courtney Chochol were named to the All-MAAC Tournament team, with Chochol winning the tournament MVP.
Sofia Lospinoso made three saves en route to her ninth clean sheet of the season.

- (1' – Quinnipiac 1, Fairfield 0) – Off a Quinnipiac corner, Olivia Scott headed the ball towards Lily Schnieders. Schnieders sent the ball to Courtney Chochol who beat the Stags' goalkeeper to the bottom left side of the net to give the Bobcats an early 1-0 lead.
- The Golden Boot award winner, Courtney Chochol scored the lone goal for the Bobcats. That was her ninth goal of the season and pushed her season points total to 27.
- Sofia Lospinoso recorded her second straight clean sheet to backstop the Bobcats to the win. That was her 9th clean sheet of the season.
