Steigauf Scores in OT to Top UNH

DURHAM, N.H. — Nina Steigauf scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team 3-2 over UNH.
After a scoreless first period, Kendall Cooper passed it to Madison Chantler alone in front of the net and she shot and scored on her own rebound to break the tie.
At the halfway mark of the second period Kate Reilly found Sadie Peart on the back post and she put it away to make it 2-0.
UNH scored two goals in the third period, including one with nine seconds left to push the game to overtime.
Two minutes into overtime Maya Labad forced a turnover in the offensive zone and found Nina Steigauf all alone and she scored to win it.
