Bobcats Fought To 2-2 Draw In Regular Season Finale

RIVERDALE, N.Y. — The Quinnipiac women's soccer team wrapped up the regular season with a 2-2 draw against the Manhattan Jaspers on Wednesday night.
Emely van der Vliet and Lily Schnieders found the back of the net for the Bobcats.
With the tie, the Bobcats move to 9-0-1 in the MAAC and 11-3-1 overall. They become the first team since the 2020-2021 season (Siena Saints) to finish the regular season without a loss.

First Half
- (21' – Quinnipiac 1, Manhattan 0) – Emely van der Vliet was able to pick up the loose ball of a Manhattan save and fired the ball into the back of the net to give the Bobcats the one-goal lead.
- (24' – Quinnipiac 1, Manhattan 1) – The Jaspers would respond just three minutes later Nicolette Caneda was able to beat Lospinoso for her first goal of the season.
- (57' – Quinnipiac 2, Manhattan 1) – Rachel Roman was able to find an open Lily Schnieders at the top of the box. Schnieders wasted no time, firing a shot past the Manhattan goalkeeper to give the Bobcats the lead.
- (82' – Quinnipiac 2, Manhattan 2) – Manhattann tied the game up in the 82nd minute as Arancha Antunes netted her second goal of the season.
- Van der Vliet has six goals in her last six games and pushed her season points total to 15 with her hat-trick.
- Lily Schnieders scored her fifth goal of the season and second in two games.
- Roman picked up her second assist of the season on Schnieders' tally in the 57th minute.
