HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's soccer team celebrated the 2023 senior class with an 8-0 victory over the Saint Peter's Peacocks on Saturday afternoon.

Six different Bobcats found the back of the net, while 12 Bobcats recorded at least one point in the winning effort.

With the win, the Bobcats move to 9-0 in the MAAC and 11-3 overall, with one game left in the regular season.

SCORING SUMMARY

First Half

(10' – Quinnipiac 1, Saint Peter's 0) – Off of a Quinnipiac corner, Anna Hartzheim sent the ball into the box where it found the head of Lily Schnieders, who headed it past the Peacock goalkeeper to give the Bobcats a one-goal lead.
(25' – Quinnipiac 2, Saint Peter's 0) – Madison Mandleur threw the ball into Courtney Chochol . Chochol made a run to the box before sending the ball across the field to Emely van der Vliet. Van der Vliet sent a booming strike to the bottom left corner of the net to double the lead.
(45' – Quinnipiac 3, Saint Peter's 0) – Milena Branco played the ball down to Ana Carlos, before firing a cross through the box to find the feet of Evelyn Keay who put it into the back of the net.

Second Half

(48' – Quinnipiac 4, Saint Peter's 0) – The ball was sent towards the goalkeeper, where Olivia Kudrikow made a nice play to chip the ball past the Peacock goalkeeper and Courtney Chochol finished it off by tapping it into the net.
(80' – Quinnipiac 5, Saint Peter's 0) – Maddie Alves made a great play to keep the ball in play on the end line before passing it to Ana Carlos. Carlos passed the ball back to Emely van der Vliet who fired home her second goal of the game.
(87' – Quinnipiac 6, Saint Peter's 0) – Anna Costello was able to play the ball down to Courtney Chochol near the end line. Chochol sent the ball to the middle of the box to find Rachel Roman, who scored her first goal as a Bobcat to extend the lead to six.
(89' – Quinnipiac 7, Saint Peter's 0) – Anna Hartzheim found Olivia Kudrikow who was able to get a shot off at the top of the box and beat the Peacocks goalkeeper to give the Bobcats their seventh goal of the game.
(90' – Quinnipiac 8, Saint Peter's 0) – With Rose Lockery's penalty kick being turned aside, Anna Costello found the loose rebound before passing it to Emely van der Vliet who finished off her hat-trick with Quinnipiac's eighth goal of the game.

NOTES

Schnieders scored her fourth goal of the year, and her third game-winning goal of the season.
Van der Vliet has five goals in her last five games and pushed her season points total to 12 with her hat-trick.
Evelyn Keay continued her great first season as a Bobcat, recording her third goal of the season and eighth point.
Courtney Chochol picked up a goal and two assists to push her season points total to 23, which leads the team.
Rachel Roman tallied her first goal as a Bobcat with her strike in the 87^th minute.
Kudrikow's tally in the 89^th minute was her first goal of the year and fourth of her career.
Anna Hartzheim, Anna Costello, and Ana Carlos all recorded two assists in the win.
Sofia Lospinoso recorded two saves in the winning effort.
The Bobcats are 9-0 in conference play for the first time in program history.
