Bobcats Tied For Third After Day One At Lady Blue Hen Invitational

REHOBOTH BEACH, DE. – The Quinnipiac women's golf program wrapped up day one of the Lady Blue Hen Invitational after 36 holes of golf were played on Saturday, October 21st. The Bobcats currently sit in a tie for 3rd place with Harvard out of eleven teams.
Samantha Galantini finished day one in eighth place after shooting a 76 (+4) in round one and a 72 (E) in round two to finish off her day.
Leeyen Peralta and Aimee Uchida sit in a tie for ninth place after the first day of competition. Peralta shot a 79 (+7) in the first round and a 70 (-2) in the second round, while Uchida shot a 75 (+3) and a 74 (+2) in round one and two respectively.
First year Natalie Spiska shot a 77 (+5) in both rounds to put her in a tie for 25th place as she sits at a +10.
Meg Yoshida rounded out the Quinnipiac grouping, shooting a 78 (+6) and a 77 (+5) to put her into a tie for 40th place after 36 holes.
Competing as an individual, Alexia Egdahl sits in a tie for 48th place. Egdahl shot a 83 (+11) and a 78 (+6) to wrap up her day.
The Bobcats will be back in action on, Sunday, October 22nd as they compete in day two of the Lady Blue Hen Invitational at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, DE.
