
No. 4 Bobcats Fall in OT to UNH

DURHAM, N.H. — For the third time in five regulation games, the No. 4 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program went to an extra session but it was UNH who scored the winner, giving the hosts a 5-4 victory over the Bobcats on Saturday night.
A wild first period began the night, as seven goals were scored between the two teams and Quinnipiac taking a 4-3 lead into the intermission, including the first in the collegiate career of Andon Cerbone.
UNH scored in the second and then again in overtime to split the weekend series.
STATS AND NOTES
Quinnipiac welcomes another Hockey East foe to M&T Bank Arena, as they bring in the Maine Black Bears for a pair on Oct. 27-28. Both puck drops are slated for 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+. Friday night's contest will also be broadcast live on NESN.

- After an assist tonight, Jacob Quillan has recorded a point in four consecutive contests. He leads the team with seven points on the season.
- Cooper Moore and CJ McGee both recorded their first, multi-assist contests with two helpers apiece.
- Moore now has five, multi-point games in his collegiate career.
- Anthony Cipollone added his second collegiate goal and first of the campaign, giving the Bobcats a 4-3 lead at the end of the first period.
- Cerbone finished the weekend with three points.
- Victor Czerneckianair also added his first goal of the season off a rebound to start the scoring.
