HAMDEN, Conn. — In yet another overtime, non-conference contest, the Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team fell to Maine, 2-1, at M&T Bank Arena on Friday night.
Maine started the scoring at the 12:55 mark of the first, jamming in a puck from in front of the net. Christophe Fillion knotted the game-equalizer, firing a puck top shelf from the low slot to tie the proceedings at the 10:48 mark of the second.
Matej Marinov made 27 saves in his first home start.
