HAMDEN, Conn. — Graduate goaltender Logan Angers made 18 saves to lead the No. 6 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team over Brown in Hamden on Friday, Oct. 20 to pick up their first ECAC victory of the year.
After a scoreless first 46 minutes, Julia Nearis found Nina Steigauf going hard to the net and she shot it to give the Bobcats a lead they wouldn't surrender.
Angers' play in net kept the Bears scoreless all night, including several saves on point blank opportunities late in the third.
