No. 6 Bobcats Skate Past No. 5 Yale

HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's hockey team scored six goals to knock off No. 5 Yale in Hamden on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Emerson Jarvis started the scoring early, finding the back of the net on a wrist shot from the middle.
28 seconds later, Kahlen Lamarche picked up a loose puck, skated into the offensive zone and fired a shot past the Yale goaltender.
On the powerplay, Maya Labad knocked in a rebound to put the Bobcats up 3-0.
Late in the first Kahlen Lamarche picked up a pass off the boards and hit Sadie Peart streaking through the neutral zone and she shot wristed it past for the score.
Yale scored two goals in the second period, and one early in the third to make it close.
Logan Angers held the Bulldogs off, making 31 saves in the contest.
Emerson Jarvis and Nina Steigauf each hit the empty net to seal the victory.
