Bobcats Improve To 8-0 In MAAC Play, Clinch Regular Season Title

EMMITSBURG, MD. — The Quinnipiac women's soccer team clinched its second consecutive regular season MAAC title, defeating Mount St. Mary's by a score of 1-0 of Wednesday afternoon in Emmitsburg.
With the win the Bobcats improved to 10-3 and 8-0 in the MAAC, while Mount St. Mary's fell to 3-4-1 in the MAAC. QU claims its second straight regular season championship (first outright) following today's contest.
QU has now won 13 consecutive contests vs. MAAC opponents, dating back to Oct. 19, 2022.

- (5' – Quinnipiac 1, MSM 0) – Off of a Quinnipiac corner, the Mount St. Mary's goalkeeper came out to play the ball, but she mishandled the catch, and the ball crossed the line for an own goal to give Quinnipiac the early 1-0 lead.
- Sofia Lospinoso recorded three saves in the winning effort en route to her sixth clean sheet of the season.
- The Bobcats outshot Mount, 9-6 with the shots on goal being 6-3 in the Bobcats' favor. Madison Mandleur led the team with two shots on goal.
