Sadie Peart Records 100th Career Point in Bobcats Win

HAMDEN, Conn. — No. 8 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey scored four unanswered goals in the third period to defeat the Providence Friars 4-1 at home on Friday, Oct. 13.
Providence scored halfway through the first period to take the lead on a shot from the slot.
Goaltender Logan Angers made several big saves to keep the score close through the first two periods.
After a scramble for the puck Zoe Uens found Julia Nearis on the far post and she buried it to the game.
Just over the halfway mark of the third Nina Steigauf picked up a loose puck and fired it short side over the goaltender's shoulder to give the Bobcats a lead they wouldn't surrender.
43 seconds later Jess Schryver cycled to the middle and shot to give the Bobcats a 3-1 lead.
With 2:45 left Sadie Peart hit the empty net to record her 100th career point.
