MEMORABLE DEBUT
- Mason Marcellus scored in his first collegiate game on Oct. 7, finding a loose puck behind the BC netminder and stuffing it home to tie the game with 5:28 to go in regulation.
- He became the second Bobcat in as many seasons to score in their collegiate debut, with Charles Alexis Legault scoring in his first collegiate action against Oct. 7, 2022, also against Boston College in a 4-0 win.
HOME SWEET HOME
- Quinnipiac enters the 2023-24 campaign with five players from the state of Connecticut, the most since the program turned Division I. The Bobcats host five of the 42 players from CT on their roster.
- A pair of granite state players return from last season in Victor Czerneckianair and Timothy Heinke, while Cooper Moore came home after three years at North Dakota and Matthew McGroarty and Andon Cerbone chose to play their college hockey in their home states.
KEEP IT TOGETHER
- Once the line was put together on Nov. 19 against Princeton, the Lipkin-Quillan-Graf line was one of the most successful in college hockey. Along with their combined 140 points on the year, the trio led their squad to 24 wins in 28 tries.
SOPHOMORES SIZZLING
- The second-year class as a whole was a major part of the offense a season ago, led by the aforementioned Lipkin-Quillan-Graf line.
- Sophomores combined for 140 of the Bobcats' 449 points a year ago, or 31.1 percent of the scoring, and all of them returned for their junior campaigns.
ALL-AMERICAN STATUS
- Three Bobcats were selected as 2022-23 All-Americans at the annual awards reception, with Collin Graf being tabbed as a First Team selection and Yaniv Perets and Zach Metsa earning Second Team honors.
- Metsa and Perets were both tabbed as selections last season, while Graf is a first-time honoree.
WINNING IS EVERYTHING
- The Bobcats had one of the winningest seasons in program history during 2022-23, winning 34 games overall, besting the program's wins record, and 20 ECAC games, the most by any team in the league since the 1988-89 campaign.
- Rand Pecknold's club hit 32 wins in its Frozen Four year of 2015-16, as well as last season's Regional Final appearance. It is the winningest season by a national champion since 2015-16, when North Dakota went 34-6-4.
