Bobcats Sweep the Weekend, Topple Big Green

Hamden, Conn-- The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team completed the weekend sweep after toppling Dartmouth, 3-2 back at home at M&T Bank Arena. The Bobcats earned their 20th win of the year against the Big Green thanks to junior forward Olivia Mobley notching two goals on the afternoon and first year Zoe Uens scoring her first collegiate goal.
Mobley went coast-to-coast, unassisted to score her second shorthanded goal of the weekend and the year.

- (6:58, 1st period, EV) Quinnipiac 1, Dartmouth 0: First year Zoe Uens scored her first collegiate goal seven minutes into the first period. Assistant captain Sadie Peart won the faceoff back to Alexa Hoskin who found Uens waiting by the blue line. Uens then ripped a one timer on net that beat Dartmouth's Maggie Emerson to the right.
- (16:41, 1st period, EV) Quinnipiac 2, Dartmouth 0: Junior Olivia Mobley scored her second goal in as many games late in the third period to give the Bobcats a two-goal lead. Maddy Samoskevich dropped a pass back to Mobley in the near circle where she was able to rip the puck over the stick side shoulder of Emerson.
- (6:41, 3rd period, EV) Quinnipiac 2, Dartmouth 1: Dartmouth was able to cut the Bobcats lead in half after Laura Fuoco was able to beat junior netminder Catie Boudiette.
- (7:54, 3rd period, SH) Quinnipiac 3, Dartmouth 1: Mobley scored her second goal shorthanded against the Big Green when she was able to corral an attempted shot from Dartmouth in front of Boudiette and then went coast-to-coast and beat Emerson five-hole. This is Mobley's second shorthanded goal in two games.
- (9:57, 3rd period, EV) Quinnipiac 3, Dartmouth 2: The Big Green made one final push on the night when Caroline Appleyard found the back of the net just before the halfway mark of the third period. However, even with pulling Emerson with 1:38 to go in the third, Mobley's shorthanded goal secured the Bobcat victory.

- Olivia Mobley tallies second shorthanded goal in two games, marking the fourth shorty of the year for the Bobcats.
