HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac field hockey program has announced the addition of forward Mo Quaile (Havertown, Pa.), as revealed by Head Coach Becca Main on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023.
Quaile will join the Bobcats with the goal of playing in the upcoming 2023 season as a sophomore after spending her campaign as a first-year at Saint Joseph's out of the A-10. A native of Havertown, Pa., the 5-foot-7 forward starred at Haverford, where she graduated with four letterwinners.
"Our team, staff and administration are looking forward to welcoming Maura Quaile to the squad this spring season," Main said. "She was a top recruit of ours many years ago and her emergence back on the Bobcat scene is exciting to say the least."
"Mo is a dynamic and mature player with a background playing in Philly at St. Joseph's University for a semester. We will look to utilize her developed skill set and also elevate her game knowledge as she works into our Bobcat system of play."
A four-year starter at Haverford, Quaile left the program having been a three-time First Team All-Delco Selection. In her time at Haverford, Quaile earned First Team All-Central League honors three times and was a two-time member of the All-Main Line First Team.
After graduating from Haverford, Quaile joined Saint Joseph's, where she made one appearance on the season for the 2022 A-10 champions.
Hailing from a family of field hockey players, Mo's mother, Kelly, played field hockey at Lebanon Valley College, while her older sister, Shannon, currently plays for Old Dominion.
"We want to welcome the entire Quaile family into our program - even Shannon, who plays field hockey at ODU," Main added.
