No. 1 Quinnipiac Drops Road Battle at No. 12/16 Cornell

ITHACA, N.Y. — The No. 1 Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team saw its eight-game winning streak and 17-game unbeaten stretch come to an end on Friday night, falling to No. 12/16 Cornell 4-0 at Lynah Rink.
The hosts scored one in each of the first two frames before depositing a pair in the third.
Quinnipiac was even in the shot department, with the Big Red holding a 24-21 advantage in shots on target and the Bobcats totaling 46 total attempts to Cornell's 41, but the visitors could not get one past Cornell netminder Ian Shane as the Bobcats were handed their first ECAC loss of the campaign.

The Bobcats finish their stay in New York with a trip to Colgate for a Saturday night puck drop. The game is slated for 7 p.m., and can be seen live on ESPN+.
