HAMDEN, Conn. — No. 7/8 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey will host its first home weekend of the 2022-23 season at M&T Bank Arena in Hamden, squaring off vs. No. 15/17 Boston College (Sept. 30) and New Hampshire (Oct. 2).

HAMDEN, Conn. — No. 7/8 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey will host its first home weekend of the 2022-23 season at M&T Bank Arena in Hamden, squaring off vs. No. 15/17 Boston College (Sept. 30) and New Hampshire (Oct. 2).
LAST TIME OUT
- The Bobcats secured a sweep against Maine to open the season last weekend.
- Junior forward Olivia Mobley scored with 10.1 seconds remaining in overtime in the first matchup, as the Bobcats earned a 3-2 win on Sept. 23. Graduate forward Lexie Adzija notched a goal and an assist and junior forward Sadie Peart recorded her first goal of the season in the victory.
- QU rolled to a 3-0 win over Maine on Sept. 24 to complete the sweep. Nina Steigauf, Maya Labad and captain Lexie Adzija all scored to secure the four-point weekend at Alfond Arena. Four Bobcats recorded points in back-to-back games against Maine (Adzija, Peart, Mobley, and Steigauf).
- QU is 4-18-4 vs. Boston College since 2000.
- The Bobcats last victory (3-2) vs. BC came on Nov. 15, 2013 in Hamden.
- Boston College heads into the matchup coming off of a 4-1 win over Franklin Pierce. Eagles goaltender Abbey Levy made 17 saves during the tilt with two BC players having multi-point nights.
- The Bobcats also moved up to No. 7 nationally in the latest USA Hockey poll.
- Quinnipiac was ranked eighth in the DCU/USCHO national poll heading into the second week of the 2022-23 season.
- Mobley currently leads the Bobcats in points (five) with a goal and three assists, followed closely by Adzija with two goals and an assist, totaling four. Nine Bobcats have recorded a point through the first two games.
- Graduate Logan Angers and junior Catie Boudiette each started a game against Maine.
- Angers made 18 saves, while Boudiette faced 26 shots in her shutout victory, marking the fourth of her career.
- First-year Tatum Blacker has yet to see action in between the pipes.
- Brown transfer Shay Maloney scored her first point as a Bobcat, an assist on Nina Steigauf's first-period goal in the 3-0 shutout over Maine.
- First-year Mia Lopata also tallied an assist, her first collegiate point, on Sept. 24.
