BURLINGTON, VT – Brage Aasen netted both of Quinnipiac's goals on Tuesday evening, leading the Bobcats past Vermont, 2-0, at Virtue Field in non-league play.

The Bobcats move to 1-1 so far on the young season.

Aasen's goals came in the 33^rd minute and 36^th minute of action. Alex Holle assisted the first score, and captain David Bercedo earned a helper on the second goal.

Goalkeeper Matthew Pisani made six saves, as the Bobcats defense earned its first clean sheet of the 2022 campaign.

QUINNIPIAC SCORING SUMMARY

(33') – Alex Holle played the ball ahead to Brage Aasen, who evaded one defender with a step-over move. The senior then blasted one into the lower-right corner of the net off his left foot to give QU an early edge.
(36') – David Bercedo earned possession, dribbled toward the top of the box to buy extra time, then found Brage Aasen – who blasted a one-timer into the back of the net for his second score of the night.

Brage Aasen now has 51 career points (19 goals, 13 assists) over 44 career games as a Bobcat. He played 76 total minutes in his season debut, scoring twice.
